Your Path to Understanding

Select the pathway that fits your needs: The Autism Assessment & Diagnosis Pathway for adults, the Child Autism Assessment & Diagnosis Pathway for ages 6-17, or a Complete Pathway where ADHD and autism may both be present. No GP referral needed.

Complete your questionnaires and share any previous reports by the deadline in your welcome email. For children, parent, carer and school input helps your clinicians understand your child's development.

Two online appointments with two specialist clinicians, in either order: a developmental history, attended with someone who ideally knew you during childhood (or a parent or carer, for children), and an autism observation. Approximately 3-5 hours in total.

Your clinicians review everything together to agree your outcome, and one of them explains it on a feedback call. Your written report, including your strengths, areas of difficulty and practical recommendations, follows within 14 days of your final appointment.

There is no medication specifically used to treat autism, so your report focuses on practical recommendations, reasonable adjustments for work or school, and clear next steps. If ADHD is also diagnosed, medication can be started through our Initiation Session.

Support that extends beyond diagnosis. Your report helps you have clearer conversations with your GP, school or employer, and we can signpost further support as you navigate your new understanding.
